A quick hypertext drive: I have never traveled on I-16. If anybody can offer a good description of the route, please e-mail me.

This short description, which I have lightly edited for clarity, was e-mailed to me by site visitor Jason Kennedy on March 24, 2007: “Interstate 16 is sparsely traveled and mostly flat. It also contains very few interchanges. Major cities along the route are Macon, Dublin, Statesboro, and Savannah. [The] most exciting thing to watch for is the graffiti appearing on the overpasses as you get closer to Statesboro. Each overpass has the Georgia Southern [University] Eagle [mascot] painted on it.” Many thanks to Jason for contributing.
