Indiana Split Speed Limits

Indiana Split Speed Limits
The Indiana Toll Road, which is maintained by the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT), employs the same speed limits used on other Interstate freeways in Indiana: 65 mph for cars, 60 mph for trucks over 13 tons GVWR, and a 45 mph minimum speed. However, single-sign assemblies like this one only appear on the Toll Road — elsewhere, INDOT uses two signs placed side-by-side.

(NOTE: This sign is now out-of-date. In July 2005, Indiana raised its speed limits to 70 mph for cars and 65 mph for trucks over 13 tons GVWR.)
