Indiana Split Speed Limits

The Indiana Toll Road, which is maintained by the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT), employs the same speed limits used on other Interstate freeways in Indiana: 65 mph for cars, 60 mph for trucks over 13 tons GVWR, and a 45 mph minimum speed. However, single-sign assemblies like this one only appear on the Toll Road elsewhere, INDOT uses two signs placed side-by-side.
(NOTE: This sign is now out-of-date. In July 2005, Indiana raised its speed limits to 70 mph for cars and 65 mph for trucks over 13 tons GVWR.)
