This is Congress Lounge and Pizza in Ishpeming, affectionately known as “Da Congress.” Guido Bonetti’s father opened this restaurant and bar in 1934; Guido himself still owns it, and continued to tend the bar into his 90s before retiring a few years ago. There are two items on the menu: pizza, with a choice of seven toppings, and cudighi sandwiches.
