I am sitting at the gate of the facility which is supposed to receive my current load. Rumor had it they would be here half an hour ago, but I have not yet seen any movement inside the facility, and the gate remains closed — so I don’t know what the hell is going on.

Finally, a court has concluded that gay and lesbian people are almost equal citizens in the United States. This past Wednesday, the New Jersey Supreme Court ruled that while there is no right to same-sex marriage in the state constitution, the denial of the exact same rights to same-sex couples as opposite-sex ones is unconstitutional. The state legislature was given 180 days to craft some form of equality for gay couples; whether this will be marriage in the sense that current (heterosexual) marriage laws are made gender-neutral, or a separate but fully equal status like civil unions, remains unknown at this time.

Of course, so-called “fundamentalist ‘Christians’” and their friends in the conservative media are going ape-shit about this. We already know that ABC has a conservative bias, as evidenced by their airing of the 9/11 “docu-drama” The Path to 9/11; now, CBS (which stands for Conservative Bull Shit) has gotten in on the act, imitating so-called “Christians” by censoring the word “gay” but allowing the word “homosexuals” on comment boards on its web site. Even better yet, they demonstrate the sex-phobia of “Christians” by also censoring the word “sex.” Take a look:

And some of you people out there still believe the media is liberal? What fucking ever — you’re clearly off in la-la land if you think the media isn’t very Reich-wing. Your intelligence level is right down there with “sanafabitch” and “KBP17” if you still believe in the myth of a “liberal media.”

(I can see “KBP17” in the 1950s right now: this is a comment on interracial marriages. If interracial marriages were legal, niggers would think they could go out in public to hold hands with whites. I have a big problem with that. If I have to explain to my son or daughter why that nigger is kissing that white woman before I am ready to explain it myself I will be pissed.)

Even in spite of the great advances we have made toward equal rights in the last few years, this, my friends, is what we are up against. Our broadcast media clearly buys into all of the Satan-inspired lies told about us by so-called “fundamentalist ‘Christians’,” and uses broadcast licenses granted by our government to push such indecent filth into homes all across the country. There is only one way for us patriotic gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender Americans to correct this: we must get out to the polls, not only this November 7 but every Election Day for the rest of our lives, and elect not just any Democrat, but Democrats who will hold the media-government-Christofascist cabal accountable for its crimes against a God-given part of nature.

On to another topic, namely college football. The chances of a Michigan-O*** State rematch in the national championship game got a big boost yesterday, courtesy of the Oregon State Beavers. Hosting USC at Reser Stadium in Corvallis, OR, they held on for a 33-31 victory over the Trojans, knocking USC out of the ranks of the undefeated. The college football nation’s attention now shifts to Louisville, KY this upcoming Thursday night, where the undefeated Cardinals will host the likewise undefeated West Virginia Mountaineers in a huge Big East game. Since WVU will be ranked #3 entering the game, what with the formerly #3 USC having lost, a Louisville victory could just about seal a Michigan-O*** State rematch for the title — unless the outcome in Columbus on November 18 is a blowout, really.

Finally, I will share with you a little fun I had the other night with Wikipedia:
