School sucks. I can't wait for spring break, which is now only nine days away. I will be staying out here in Bursley during the break; I don't want to risk going home and getting into another huge war after two days.

I will be leaving here tomorrow night to go to Marquette for three days. Eric, Pat, and I are going to Michigan's hockey games against NMU on Friday and Saturday night. We're going to meet two NMU fans from U.S. College Hockey Online before the Friday game, then go out for potent potables afterwards. We will return Sunday afternoon. After that, I have tickets to Michigan's two games against MSU the following weekend -- Friday at Yost, Saturday at Joe Louis -- in addition to CCHA Championship tickets for March 17-18 at Joe Louis. Yes, hockey fans, we're entering the craziest time of the year.

I went to the MITCA indoor track meet out here in Ann Arbor last Thursday night, at the U-M Indoor Track and Tennis Building. I got to talk with all the old coaches and many of my old teammates; it was a fun night. (Makes me feel old to think that the guys who were sophomores when I was still there are now the team captains.) None of CC's runners did anything exceptional, save junior miler John Digiovanni, who ran a 4:44 in his first indoor race of the year. But the night belonged to Rockford junior Dathan Ritzenheim, who broke the state indoor mile record by over a second with his 4:12.5 mark. Ritzenheim is already a two-time national champion in the mile. Might he run 4:00 in high school? It should be fun to watch the kid over the next two years to find out.
